First chance to watch the game & listen to commentary from Saturday night and Stephen Quartermain is up to usually alarmist, squealing, dobbing, pseudo emotional commentary worst!!!

e.g.: Joey's front on bump in the first quarter, "Oh, Oh, that's not good, we may have to have a look at that" Then questions whether it was even a free kick. Wanker

e.g.: (Fev) "Let's have a look at that on the replay, he's pointing to his stomach, let's hope there's nothing sinister there..." Alleges biting or pinching. Wanker...would have sat in front row at school and started each sentence with: "Miss, Miss..."

Seems to be his style since Ten was given football, that he'll try to sink players. Will make claims the game is going soft "What's the game coming to?" and then try to hang a player with an equally soft accusation. Wanker

Sort of bloke that will release the trap door on a person and then have a look at the evidence. Single handedly ensuring Capital Punishment will never make a come back.

And while we're on commentator encouragement, did anyone else hear Dr Schwartz calling the Collingwood-Brisbane game when the Collingwood fella slid into a contest only to come out with blood streaming down his face? It also looked like his knee could be in a bit of trouble, and Dr Schwartz states categorically along the lines of "That looks to be a medial ligament" only for Rik Ollarenshaw (sp?) to later say the doctor's hadn't even bothered looking at the knee - that's how concerned they were with it!

Dr Schwartz needs to go back to medical school!
