Hard this week, our top six were all very very good.
1 - Ball
2 - X. Clarke
3 - Montagna
4 - Hayes
5 - S. Fisher
Apologies to Milne, Maxy, Gardiner, L. Fisher and Dal Santo.
Big kudos to Raph, Blake and Fiora for stepping up and showing they deserve a place in the team and encouraging signs from Geary.
Kosi and Roo had shockers but they'll bounce back.
Servicable game from Schneider, Gram and Harvey.

5. Ball (Stunning game ran the mid-field beautifully)
4. Hayes (Just racked up possesion after possesion and as normal disposal was great)
3. Montagna (Great run through the middle and was one of the principle architects of moving the ball quickly which was the difference between the two sides)
2. S Fisher (Gave us a huge amount of run off the back line)
1. M Gardiner (Dominated in the ruck.)

5. Max (terrific game to shut out Carlton's only real hope of putting up a decent fist of it. Also loved seeing the fire in his belly!)
4. X Clarke (good run, cool head in traffic, top tackling and good finishing - exactly what we need from an attacking mid)
3. Milne (for a small forward, and part time mid, to kick 4 goals is an outstanding effort - could have taken the 5 points)
2. Ball (outstanding inside work - if only he could get his confidence back into his longer kicking game)
1. Fiora (a few moments of real class to set up goals)
Honourable mentions......
Montagna (always there providing an option)
Geary (a 2 game veteran - really a cool head on young shoulders)
Sam Fisher (some good run from defence, good to see you more freed up in this game)
Blake (good shut - down job on Stevens)
Gardiner (dominant ruckman)
King (two goals from a ruckman!)
Gehrig (you never really went away did you?)

5. L. Hayes - what a game, led the way all night, his work around the packs, terrific.
4. L. Ball- similar to Lenny, both are superb tacklers, stopped carlton gaining possession. he is one bloke who lays tackle after tackle and rarely gives away a free which i think quite remarkable considering.
3. X. Clarke - best game from him i've seen in some time, showed spark, work ethic and was efficient around goal. Classy game.
2. S. Milne- after a slow start to kick 4 goals was a great effort, does a lot of work to get into the right position, a solid game.
1. M.Hudghton- did a terrific job on Fevola, it was obvious fev was frustrated, max wins out once again. Top job.
Can't believe i have to leave out Joey, Grammy, Frase, M.Gardiner etc, all who had solid contributions. It's nice to see an all round team effort, we're going to need much of the same next week.
Also no big reliance on the twin towers koz and roo which shows unpredictability, promising signs.
