Goddard's return to Senior Footy...
Anyone got any updates on Goddard, and when we think he'll return.
From what I've read, he's played 2-3 VFL matches (about 80% game time), his skills have been great and he looks match-fit.
Any different interpretations/updates/goss etc?
Can't wait to have BJ back in the side!
Did the saints train today??? How'd he look?

I didn't stay for long - they were just doing some kicking/handballing exercises and then went inside; I am assuming they came back out after I had left.ralphysaints35 wrote:what did goose look like
possible return this week??
These are the players I didn't see there:-
Roo
Harvey
M.Gardiner
Maguire
S.Fisher
Genghis Khan
Jason Blake has some sort of knee banfage that covers his right knee and upper calf.
One interesting sidelight was that Simon Madden was having deep and meaningful conversations with Big Mac and LVR. Madden was about 200cm when he played but he looked at least half a head shorter than the 2 Saint giraffes.

The only player I did not see make an appearance training at all was Gram.. not sure about Khan, as a dont know what he looks like.. Sam Fisher was hardly there.. was hanging around at the start, then disappeared..
BJ did no real team structure work, just ran laps and did kick and handball drills, but no competetive work at all...
Goose did nothing.. came out, jogged a little, did a few kick to kicks, and then went off... seems like he is atlease 2-3 weeks from senior footy, maybe more..
G looked great and should be ok to play.. Harvs is a marvel... Always leading the group when they were doing their 400 and 800's... Lenny and Charlie Gardner not far behind.. Raph usually was last or near the back..
Overall team looked really good, and G should be back.. BJ looked to be fine (no strapping etc), and may train competiviely at other times..
Standouts for mine... G, Armo, Dal (always looks good), L. Fisher..
Eljay looks to have really nice skills..

from the CEO- BJ and Goose not this week,
http://news.realfooty.com.au/saints-res ... -21g6.htmlSt Kilda should regain full-forward Fraser Gehrig from a calf strain for Saturday night's game against Carlton at Telstra Dome, while Maguire (leg) and Goddard (knee) could play the following week against the Western Bulldogs.

Personally I think Goose could wait a few more weeks to be sure and to give him confidence time at CASEY.saintbrat wrote:from the CEO- BJ and Goose not this week,

If Goddard is not yet right so be it but I reckon he will be ready soon.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Sunday and monday saw the team from saturday night being treated for fleas!
I'm sorry, you've gone through all the trouble to find out what this actually says and it really is quite insignificant.
