Carlton vs. Richmond tonight
I'm just wondering about the game tonight and who you think will win out of the two.
Also wondering how you think Judd will go in the game, as a navy blue? Pretty sure he is playing tonight's match. Your opinion?

carlton will smash richmond
its sad but true.
carlton should have won 8 or 9 games last year but tanked it.
and maybe 2 games they were unlucky in.
they have a formidable midfield, a rank tosser who can kick 8 or 9 goals in a game, and some talent in their defence.
IMO in 07 if carlton had have won some close games they would have pushed harder for a finals berth, but they basically tanked the back half of the season in such a ridiculously obvious effort it was more than embarrassing.
with a new season, and their talent available, carlton will win by 40 points.
Richmond are woeful.
if carlton lose, then they are after 08 draft picks again ><

will be a battle of the midfield, currently I would put carltons mid on top but if richmond break even 50/50 then their forwards will moster the worst backline I have seen in many many years!

Not sure we were watching the same season last year Dan. Carlton are a pretty woeful unit. Apart from a few good top liners such as Fevola and Waite, and mid-tier players such as Carrazzo and Fisher, their team is very ordinary and their backline leaks like nobodys business.
Tanking or no tanking, they would not have been anywhere near the finals last year. Where they finished is pretty indicative of their ability.
I reckon tigers to win by 20 or 30 points tonight.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

and slagging of hackland.
sigh at the same old dribble re: st kilda.
anyway, really with a bit of luck both will be autowins.
mmm carlton were very close in a lot of games, and while they were woeful, they played us to within a few points, and the outfit we had there was far superior.
personally love to see carlton as the foundation of teh AFL ladder, propping up the other 15 teams, but I reckon now they don't have to pay to feed fat albert, they'llhave more money for the rst of the team to eat.

no respect for judd, but he's not really an asswhipe, and he really is a talented player.saintspremiers wrote:I want Carlton to win so they only need 4 more wins to prevent a priority pick.
....and Judd to get even more injured than he already is of course!!
f.ebola on the other hand is, however can't see anyone at the tigers with the balls to go toe to toe with him.
benny gale might have run through him in his prime.

so you would never have a look at what is out there in yor employment field if it became apparent you could earn plenty more???
i think not dan
"It's a work in progress," Lyon said.
what? Im the one saying I disagree with having judd hit, just don't respect him. Have a look at how carlton are slipping him extra cash, environmental spokesman, FFS if thats not a salary cap rort ><Saints Premiers 2008 wrote:get real dan...judd is a very clever man looking out for number one...chris juddDan Warna wrote:no respect for judd, but he's not really an asswhipe, and he really is a talented player.saintspremiers wrote:I want Carlton to win so they only need 4 more wins to prevent a priority pick.

I said he's NOT an asswhipe, and I inferred I wouldn't want him hit, f.ebola on the other hand I wouln't mind seeing him hit, but theres no one at richmond capable.

This might sound crazy but I think King would have a crack, he's not the biggest bloke but he has a lot of grunt, an Fev is all braun no brain, he would run with his tail between his legs at the first sign of trouble...Dan Warna wrote: f.ebola on the other hand is, however can't see anyone at the tigers with the balls to go toe to toe with him.
