Noticed some ex saints Joel Smith, Brett Moyle and Allan Murray playing seniors at Balwyn. Know of any others?

Do any Balwyn players play for the jumper? I think not. The Real Madrid of 3rd tier aussie footy, they buy success.

Also if you want to see some ex-Saints playing suburban footy this year, get down to Old Haileybury.

Brett Voss, Jamie Shanahan (coach), Tony Brown (I think) and a couple of others...

I know Vermont were chasing Nick Smith. Refused to match the $40,000 that Balwyn offered and dropped off him.

With the huge ammounts they are throwing around they had better win a premiership or they will go the way of others when Geoff Lord and the owner of All Banks stop propping them up. Their salary budget for 2008 is approx $450,000. That is a chyt load of money for a suburban footy club !!
