Looks a bit better.
Will take a while to get used to it.
Or better
Just stick with WoM and Saintsational
If it's worth noting it will be on those sites.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

The graphics are fresh. (lovely red white and black!)
The layout is busy.
But -- is it my computer or what -- it's so slow! Try going from one player profile back to the list and onto the next. So slow I can't even cope!!
(I always wondered if bigpond sponsored the AFL's sites to make them so cumbersome that we'd all have to upgrade our broadband services.)
Apart from that, I'm happy with the player profile format. Now we await the content. There are some curious anomalies there now! Jayden Attard has growth-spurted into a much taller Jarryn Allen lookalike. And it seems he played four games for Brisbane last year! And it sure is nice to have Brent Guerra back in the team! Go Mini-G!
But my serious plea to whoever does the profiles is PLEASE give us fresh, up-to-date heights and weights stats! I want to know how big (or trim) they've got now -- not two seasons ago, or when they were first recruited.
Does anyone know whether the website writers read this forum? I'm new to it -- just interested if any of the concversation here gets fed into the system?

yeh mic- but I'd still like the exact number underneath ( as Bombers do )- I liked the scroll BUt it wasn't updated qquickly enough
curious anomolies re player profiles indeed- Brent G popped up this morning- I guess when you transfer over a whole heap of info some is likely to get missed
ALWAYS with websites they are only as good as their upkeep and constant info. there have been several posters on here over the years who have had a go and it doesn't last the season
hence Kudos to the Peanut for manageing to keep WOM fresh for so long

I too like the player profiles with links to articles , photos and stats for each player.AS LONG AS IT'S KEPT relevant.

if you check the staff list on saints.com.au I think you may find a contact for the Website listed.-- perhaps some suggestions will alert him to what supporters feel is important and what they want to see and know.Does anyone know whether the website writers read this forum? If that's the Club's official site, it is still a load of incompetant crap - or garbage in softer terms.
There is no doubt in my mind that the controlled management of the site is dictated to by the AFL in conjunction with BigPond/Telstra for revenue control purposes to help satisfy the greed that engulfs the AFL and certain personnel therein.
The only way that we can get any efficiency out of our own site is to subscribe to BigPond and I can assure one and all, I certainly won't be doing that.
Anyway, Saintsational.com and the Peanut's WOM are the Club sites as far as I am concerned. It will be very interesting, incidently, to see if Sainters .com actually gets off the ground - maybe the AFL will make it too difficult and too hard to get it going.

I thought persona; attacks were not allowed now - seems the "new" Saintsational isn't so new after all.
that's undoubtedly one of the worst websites i've seen. about thirty javascript applets all trying to start up at the same time when you open the page - never heard of ajax or ruby on rails? every time you switch pages it takes about a minute to just display the new page. it's an absolutely horrible piece of architecture. design is ok but the coding is unbearably bad. (and good luck using google to search a site where all the content is in applets - though i think that's what they're going for.)
telstra really do pollute the internet with their work. the afl site's been getting worse for years and now it's unbearable as well.

I pray that a few of the StKilda Board visit this fan forum, because i want them to hear this loud and clear.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHY WE COMPLAINED TO G WESTAWAY.
The old website was nothing more than a Bigpond website ported from the AFL.
The new website is nothing more than a Bigpond website ported from the AFL.
Nothing has changed, and Im so disappointed. This was meant to be a new site written from the ground up, written for us.
The layout is confused and busy, & the coding is so bloated.
And hear this marketing people, I REFUSE to click on advertising links for dating/telstra related websites. Try to think about audience related links. If the club is expecting revenue from this website they had better get ready for a rude shock.
You might not believe in conspiracy theories, but try this on for size;
it takes over 20minutes++ to load the front page at 56kb. Unusable, which forces you on to broadband.
Broadband companies (Bigpond-Telstra) love people who go over quota:
The front page has @ 5mb of data just to load the front page, but this is a bit understated because if you left the page open all day that would increase because of the constant reloading of data.
Believe me this is the first and last time I will be going to saints.com.au
WOM and SS for me.
Now if we can only get those two people talking we might have something.
Peanut + SS + supporter contributions = the best saints site ever.
