*º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º* New banner for the forum - **closed

[Oh When the Saints]

As you are aware, saintsational.com is sponsoring Sam Gilbert and Jarryn Geary in 2008, and the contributions of many posters have allowed that to happen.

Shortly, each poster who is a sponsor will receive individual recognition under their username, which shall read "Proud Sponsor of Sam Gilbert and Jarryn Geary".

In addition to this, and because it is looking a bit tired, we are planning on changing the banner of the forum.

The new banner must feature the following things:
- saintsational.com
- the names or photos of Sam Gilbert and Jarryn Geary
- at least two of the colours of red, white and black
- NO use of the AFL logo or sponsors logos

So we are after designs for a new banner!

There were some done a few months back, which I will post below. But any new designs would be most welcome.

The deadline for new designs is Round One! The 21st of March (Good Friday) to be exact.

So please have a crack and help us out! We will have a poll to decide the winner after all designs have been received.

Gah, last time I google without double checking. Why are all the unreliable sites of the names the first ones to pop up?

I'll get around to fixing that tomorrow. Would it be best to use .gif transparency as it should work on all skins the same way and should work across all browsers?

Yeah, the pyramids have been there for over four years, it'll be nice to knock them down and build a quickie-mart there. Lots of passing traffic.

Surely a simple line under the existing banner would achieve that objective.

I've made two slight variations.

This one has a white glow around the SS text


This one has a white outline rather than a glow


SG and JG have a slight red glow around them to mask the shitty edges.

Any comments are welcome.
