Does Eddy remind anyone of Justin Peckett?

Post: # 525574Post Oh When the Saints »

Not a perfect comparison, but watching the first half on TV last night, there were a couple of times where Robert Eddy reminded me of Justin Peckett.

Not in the way he played - Frankie was more of an outside, run and carry player.

But in the way both players move and use the ball.

Same height as Peckett too ...

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

He really doesn't remind me of Justin Peckett! I can't see it personally.

He looks like Brett Knowles, body shape & height wise! Hopefully turns out to be a better success :)

smart footballer, really good sense of where he is on a football field and does alot of things that can do unnoticed.

No other player could ever remind me of Frankie. That's my tribute to him.

Yes! i made that comment last night but no one else seemed to agree with me so i stayed quiet.. Glad to know im not the only one, it's something about his hair.. the way he moves? It's something...
I've been pretty impressed with Eddy, i get confused between him and Geary as well though, made it easier having Geary resting last night

Yep, appearances very similar- I did a double take when he got involved in the first few minutes.

Eddie McGuire has a lot more money and lives in Toorak. Peckett is a normal human being.

Of no doubt, they are of the same seed, of shared chromosone, mixed up together in the batter splatter and that Eddy is in fact, really Justin's twin brother who's been remarkably transported back in time, with some time based transporting device, and brother  callin them twin's is not sufficient enough and doesn't even begin to describe the uncanny resemblance between the double bubble one's, even Justin was apparently none the wiser, and quite frankly, I'm amazed why noone too the best of my knowledge, up until now, has mentioned this before, and wonder and contemplatively ponder, that perhaps at some point, our playing group, coaching staff and even admin have already one out, on the level, upfront and at arm's length, said "Hey Justin, didn't you retire last year, what ya still doing on the list, how come you look so much younger and btw, what's with that rookie thang????????"

yeh exactly if eddy was to remind me of frankie he would have to get a bigger nose, have lots of kids and get a better nickname than frankie which is impossible so IMO no way.

go frankie :D

Pecko was a much better kick of the ball and took the kickins for a number of years.

Robs kicking of the boot has not got the same spin and accurate placement.

Don't think Ross the Boss would want Rob kicking in yet.
