If the set play was i will play on and kick it long then you are right but the rest of it was luck but good luck to them i say.

If a set play was carried out for every kick in then the opposition would catch on rather quickly,,As far as a set play for your arse is concerned,i'll give it a miss.

I would think there ought to be a set play on every kick in, just not necessarily the same one... IF that was a set play, what set it apart was calling for a specific one. I'm not sold, but it worked, so i'm happy.

I coach under 14's in first division. We have 5 set plays from PKI's. The players practice them at training every week and on game day they rarely fail. Set plays make an unpredictable game more predictable to the team with possession.
