It is good to see, Gram is becoming one of our most vital players, he's just so deadly with that kick of his and he rarely feels the pressure...

Yes, but if I recall correctly Roo missed the kick and we ended up drawing...
After that Gram said he would like to say that he meant it, but he didn't.

Definately a set play, as signalled by Montagna before the kick in.
If the set play was i will play on and kick it long then you are right but the rest of it was luck but good luck to them i say.

It was signaling that he was going to play on.

Obviously there is a fair amount of improvisation once he has disposed of the ball.

If a set play was carried out for every kick in then the opposition would catch on rather quickly,,As far as a set play for your arse is concerned,i'll give it a miss.

I would think there ought to be a set play on every kick in, just not necessarily the same one... IF that was a set play, what set it apart was calling for a specific one. I'm not sold, but it worked, so i'm happy.
I coach under 14's in first division. We have 5 set plays from PKI's. The players practice them at training every week and on game day they rarely fail. Set plays make an unpredictable game more predictable to the team with possession.
