will you have to make a choice on 29th?
Or do the Saints take precedence?
Reading My ACB mail I realised the 29th Feb is the last of the tri series games at the MCG for the summer.
Australia Vs Sri lanka beginning at 2.10-
Saints vs Essendon beginning at 7.40
both ending around the same time
will you
a) forfeit tickets already bought for the cricket to get to the saints game
b) never getting to the cricket due to timing - Saints all the way
c) attempt to do some of both ( gilly 's last innings?
d) choose the cricket as the last international game at the G of the season.
e) can't make either

Hoooooooo boy I'll be getting flamed for this:
Option f) I hate cricket, so Saints all the way.
I do have conflicts, so I make my decisions this way:
AFL trumps everything
NRL trumps A-League regular games, but A-League finals/ACL games trump NRL regular season games
Its pretty simple, I just go on who I love more and it goes 1) Saints (daylight) 2) Storm 3) Victory.

Won't get flamed by me!riccardo wrote:Hoooooooo boy I'll be getting flamed for this:

Any game involving the St Kilda FC that you can attend takes precedence over any other sporting event imo.....
You can still watch Gilchrist rake in the money with the IPL on TV later in the year.
Exactly me, word for word. I have the same pecking order too.riccardo wrote:Hoooooooo boy I'll be getting flamed for this:

I went to that yesterday! Had a great time!mad saint guy wrote:Option F - Go to Soundwave Festival, hurry back to try and catch the last 5 minutes on TV

Have my year twelve formal that night, but my bf goes for Essendon so it will be a tense night waiting for scores, there could be tears
They are at the end of the year here in Qld.
I'm going to that formal as well.
Will miss both the cricket and the footy.
Absolutely spewing.

This is very tricky for me too. Have missed very few cricket games this year but the saints would always have more appeal. I stupidly agreed to go to husband's work function this Friday night [weeks ago] and am now getting the [you can't be serious] treatment in trying to backpeddle out of it. Is there a particular day designated for the NAB g/f should we make it so I don't make this mistake next week??

NAB Grand final- saturday March 8th
which will make for a quick flight out of Adelaide if they play the crows,
to be back for the family day on the Sunday
team with most goals hosts- if Hawks beat Crows should be at TD.
