Sounds like Armo, Baker, Dal Santo, Geary and Kosi have been our best so far.

Allen, Chivers, Connors, Fiora, Mline, Steven and van Rheenen all yet to get a touch.

Very rarely have we had 3 effective disposals in succession.

Inaccuracy has cost us, but to be honest I don't see it as an issue yet, apparently that end was very hard to kick at and most misses were from quite a way out....
Will be interesting to see how both teams go this quarter, hopefully we will be able to get a couple of supergoals...

Stats

Geary 11
Dal 9
Baker 7
Montagna 6
Kosi 5

AFL stats saying Armo has only had it 5 times... seemed like more to me.

Geary with 11 touches
Dal with 8...
Dal's stats are making him look better than he has been so far IMO, he hasn't been getting into the thick of it as of yet...

Because he did come off with a couple minutes left...
Both teams used 15 out of 16 available subs, stupid, stupid rule....
they kept saying that either he was injured or didn't want to tackle... I hoped its injury otherwise its a long year for birss

Was clear he was going to be a gun half way through last year.

oh come on! You would rather he was injured than he has the chance to rectify what he's done so far. That's ridiclous. I definitely would rather its that he doesn't want to tackle. All that would take is a kick up the arse.

Apparently he has never kicked a goal for us, I could have sworn he did last week
Yeah, he did last week, for sure. As soon as the commentator said he still hasn't kicked a goal for St Kilda I was like "WTF! Yes he has!"

Howard's pace seems to be quite overrated, no defensive pressure whatsoever...

after a hard preseason I would hope he would be going nuts wanting to make the best 22....

hey was that a report on armo? accidental boot or deliberate, would hate to lose him when he is starting to play better....

anyway he gets a goal

A bit of tension, Armo accidentally kicked Mackie ala Hodge-Lappin last year and in retaliation Mackie got Armo in a headlock,,,
Armo kicked his first goal for St.Kilda
36-22

I'm pretty sure only Mackie got reported, however Armo could have a case to answer...

I would say not, Hodge didn't get in trouble last year and his was deliberate and kept Lappin out of it for a month, Armo didn't even know the player was there....

Well, Kosi is a great man and has kicked a supergoal!

It's 31 to 36... we're back in the game.

It certainly does seem that we are kicking to the scoring end - despite the TV's dismissal of the idea that there is any breeze

lol, bet there's no complaints about stupid pre-season rules now is there?

Imo, I hate the soft 50 m 9 pointer goal. They say the MOTM has to be outside 50 for it to be a supergoal but when they call a 50m penalty , he's INSIDE the fifty, that's just contradictory.... but I'll take it.
