For those MW'ers who have purchased seats this year...it did say in the email that new reserved seats will follow the initial mailout..so dont stress k??????????

That brings up an interesting point - do Melbourne based members have to pick up thiers from the merch tents or are ours mailed out too?

Here is part of the email I got last night.
"2008 Membership cards and packs have begun to be mailed this week, so keep an eye out for yours in the mail shortly! Please be advised that it can take up to 2 weeks for delivery, so please be patient if yours doesn't arrive straight away. Please also note that that cards are sent out individually and not in family/household batches.

Our current membership total as of this morning is 22,655 so we would like to thank you for your contribution to this and ask you to help us keep it moving up by encouraging friends and family who have not yet joined to do so.

Your Member's only scarf (and cap for Social Club & Reserved Seat members!) is now available for collection. These can be picked up from our membership marquees on match day or our upcoming Saints Family Day at Frankston Park, however to avoid any possible queues we suggest you collect from our membership counter at Linen House Oval, Moorabbin. You must bring your voucher that will arrive with your membership card to redeem your scarf and cap and to further reduce your wait time, please fill in your name and member ID beforehand."

its stupidity that we cant use our memberships for preseason matches

due to the fact that everyone needed to buy tickets getting into the ground took forever

i was there at 7:15 and didnt get in untill 5 minutes into the game

as stated in the email ric- take your voucher and pick it up at a tent- I was offered one But said I didn't have my voucher yet

the scarves look good though .

Just out of curiosity what pictures did people have on their cards. I have reserved social club & got a pic of Dal, yet saw one the other night which I think was just a straight m/ship & it had a pic of Roo on it. Does anyone else have a different photo on theirs?

The lady in the membership tent on Friday night told me that they posted out 3,000 memberships for reserved seat holders on Thursday night. They should arrive on Monday.

Fingers (and everything else) are crossed in the hope that mine is amongst that lot !!

Mine has Dal snoopygirl but again it's reserved

I think a good feature next year could you you get to choose which player you want on your card for an extra 2$
I would certainly pay it, and that 2$ could go a long way if enough people choose their own player...
