For years the eagles new they had players with drug problems yet did nothing about it as it wasn't affecting there on field success they was happy to turn a blind eye in the interest of chasing a flag.

Absolutely tragic. I"m writing a condolence letter right now. I only hope it's a serious hammy and not just one or two weeks. Nasty, you bet. A pox on all things Eagles.

even without those 3 they still would beat most teams in the comp ... the reason they are such a good team is cause they have the depth to cover losses they lose judd benny and kerr gets injured they still have got fletcher stenglin priddis cox embly hurn masten selwood to fill the void .
i hate wc with a passion but credit where credit due they have built a quallity team

Eagles nearly made it into a prelim last year without Kerr, Cousins and Judd only to be beaten in extra time by Collingwood. Still a very good team without them, and even moreso with the recruitment of Ebert, Masten and Scott Selwood.

I wouldn't expect much out of S.Selwood or Masten in 08, Ebert should go alright but wont make much of a difference, but watch out for Rosa and Hurn those two will tear it up, they still have an awesome midfield and a good coach, and Byron as for hoping Kerr's injury is serious that is just not on, I am ashamed to have you as a St.Kilda supporter, Wishing a serious injury to a player regardless of their club or how much of a tosser they are is just not right....
What I would love to see is every team have full health, sure it may seem good to watch West Coast suffer without their superstars but how much better would it be to beat them with them there, I would love nothing more then for Judd to return better than ever and for Carlton to still win the spoon, nothin would beat that...

Ok i will be the first to admit that the eagles had plenty of off filed issues which they should have taken care off. Getting rid of Benny boy was one of them and Judd left theres nothing we can do but move on. Kerr will be out for 3 to 4 weeks so he can rest and be ready for round one.

We still have players like Butler, Rosa, Priddis, Embley, Bruan Stenglein, Flecther, Nicoski and co. Lets face it they are no Cousins and and Chris Who? but we now these boys will be forced to lift their game.

Also we have some good draftees like Masten, Ebert. Were not going to win the flag next year but its a step in the right direction.

the thing i would be worried about if i was westcoast would be how fletcer is going to cope with the no 1 midfeilder tag for the games kerr misses and also how they are going to go if the worst happens and Cox gets injured for long periods
