What evidence of authenticity do you have?Saint 58 wrote:I have a 1966 GF Weg poster, framed and signed by Allan Jeans.
Would never sell it, I'll pass it on to the eldest son, but would love to know what it would be worth.
The WEG mob are still printing those posters, and a buyer would need some evidence that it is actually Yabby's signature.

Plugger14 must be a different piece. The one I have is titled "Back to Back" (I have 12 of 35). Looks pretty cool.PLUGGER14 wrote:2 Brownlows??On the Bench wrote:
My favourite would have to be the framed Sir Robert Harvey Memorabilia with the 2 Brownlows. Of course it's in the poolroom.
I have Banger's 250th piece which has 1 replica brownlow & 1 replica EJ Whitten medal.
Is this what you are talking about?
I am still hurting from 71;
my gut churns thinking of 97;
2009 was agony,
2010a was a pleasure to watch only to be devastated by 2010 b.
It hurts barracking for the Saints

My favourite is a t-shirt (not signed) with a caricature of Plugger on the front with the headline "Pluggers ton in 91". On the back is every game with the number of goals he kicked. A bit like the t-shirts you get at concerts with the tour dates on the back. Still wear it out on special occasions. Also got a kids Saints jumper from the 90's with the No.4 on the back with Plugger's name above the number. Both my young fellas wear it to the footy and never fails to get a reaction from Saints fans.
As you can see I'll never forget the great man!

i got my first saints jumper the hot crossed bun jumper signed by the whole 2004 stkilda side including the whole coaching staff and the mascot at the time saintorian and alos my friends grandpa geoff hibbins saints ruckman in the 50's not worth much because it is not a 2004 jumper but has great sentimental value
football jumpers
I'm also a bit of a jumper collecter, having the four heritage geurnseys plus the pura milk yellow jumper only used in the 2002 against Essedon in that season. My favorite jumper would be the jumper signed by all the clubs living brownlow medalists except Plugger. When I get his I can frame it.

Forgive my ignorance but what's a ruckle?riccardo wrote:I've got a framed jumper from when the site sponsored Grammy a few years ago, but my fave memorabilia is my old 1980's Saint Ruckle.
I used to collect them, I had ours, North, Footscray, Fitzroy and Demons but only ours is left now.
And Ric, I'm sure you have forgotten a very important piece that's with you every day

I have a club produced "record" from 1933, that has a couple of articles in it about my grandfather who played that year. Probably my most cherished posession.
Got a few footballs..ex club Sherrins signed by most of the players. I think 92', 94 & 98 have the full list & coaches sigs.
2004 framed jumper signed by the whole list. One of the candy stripers. Its on the wall behind me
I have a jumper that I won at the social club out at Waverley way back. I think it was 1998...Has Aussie's sig on it. Unwashed. Been meaning to frame that one.
Have an "onfield" coaches jacket signed by Stan...again from the social club raffle.
Wish I had more.
I have sketchy memorabilia about the night I got absolutely HAMMERED in the social club with Robbie Muir @ Moorabbin in 1997 at one of the away games. He just lobbed at half time, pulled up a chair at our bench and got stuck in. Went to the casino with him later....big, big night. I can remember him revving up the crowd late in the last quarter as we kicked away....funny as hell.
Just thought I'd bring that up since he already got a mention earlier in this thread. Lovely bloke....

It was given to me by my brother-in-law's father about one year B4 he died, (of cancer), - he was there, he bought it, and it has 42 years of creases. When I had it framed they were going to try to remove the creases but they decided against it.GrumpyOne wrote:What evidence of authenticity do you have?Saint 58 wrote:I have a 1966 GF Weg poster, framed and signed by Allan Jeans.

My brother-in-law was at the game as well, surely enough to make you a Sainter for life, but he's a Cats supporter, his Mum's influence, lucky bastard .....

Thanks for the info, but if it doesn't have Club certification, it affects the value. I would estimate it to be worth around $250.Saint 58 wrote:It was given to me by my brother-in-law's father about one year B4 he died, (of cancer), - he was there, he bought it, and it has 42 years of creases. $250.00 or $2500.00 - doesn't matter, it's not for sale .....
I JUST WANT ANOTHER ONE

I'm a very keen collector mainly cricket and boxing but have some good saints pieces.
I have the saints premiership piece (one of 65) which is very nice, Stuart Loewe Nathan Burke 300 jumpers and Rob Harvey 250 jumper. A TOC fully signed print. Have Weg posters in mint from 66 (X2) and pre game WEGs from 71 (BTW WEG will verify these at his store if anyone is interested in showing their own).
I also have a game worn 66 jumper signed by the player who wore it in the match and a couple of team signed jumpers from 1999 and 2006.

If it was Rixy's good game you may be able to get it DNA tested.GrumpyOne wrote:Have you got a COA from B4?rodgerfox wrote:I have an A4 sheet of paper with all the ruck stats from 2006 scribbled incoherently on it.
And mine are my scrapbooks from 70-73 and my autograph book with the 71-73 teams, Richmond 72 (don't ask!) and a personalized Ian Stewart one.
And I have Rod Owen's autograph from when he captained the little league.
One mighty duffle coat with all the souvenir shop stuff on it, circa 1978 featuring a big "2" on the back.
Plus lots of little things that I could never part with!

If it's not asking too much, what is the "saints premiership piece" of which there are only 65?
And which player jumper have you got from 66?
It all sounds like a pretty god collection to me, and that's just your footy stuff! Must have a pretty nice boxing/cricket collection...
