Richmond- Richmond has broken its pre-Christmas membership record . . .s at close of business yesterday (Tuesday, December 18), the Tigers had 13,341 members.

Port Adelaide Current 2008 Membership Figure 14,075 (21/12/07)
2008 Membership Target 36,340 (to match 2004)

Seeing the Bombers - with little to excite the members (loss of two legends) - chalk up 23,000 pre-Xmas members is a sign that we have a LONG way to go.

I was hoping to crack 35,000 this year, but I can see another total around the 33,000 mark.

The Bombers figure of 23,000 is not as good as it looks because they have an automatic renewal system whereby a high percentage of their 2007 members have their membership renewals automatically processed pre Christmas by the Club therefore boosting the numbers at this time.
When memberships close next year, their end result won't be much better than ours.

Everton, if we crack 33,000 members for 2008, that will be a Club record. Anyway, I reckon we will go close to 35,000 members in 2008, just wait and see.

responses recieved- mail and e-mail said late Feb /early March
but not sure about interstae

when did you rejoin?
if late dec- the office has been closed since 21st

Can add my total to the number next week,with my finances being a bit better finally this year,i`ll be getting the interstate membership package.

...that still gets tacked onto the total dont it?

yes interstate does

But in the past the general rul;e is that memberships with 5 games or more attached are counted.o

Richmond still count the number of memeberswith no games attached but it's seperated.as non ticketed members. I guess it's funds in the club but wouldn't attract the AFL.

i asked the lady how many members we had to date

she still only said over 18000, she didnt give me an exact figure

i was hoping she was going to say 22000

but she didnt

Hawks 20,684 ( but started campaign early oct.)

cats reportedly high, but limited by stadium.
Crows and Eagles in waiting list situations.
