good work chook....... I must have just missed you I called into buy something from the shop just before it closed.....they were saying it would even go over 18,000 members when they enter all the forms....

I cant wait for my members scarf to come........

If they are right and we get to 18,000 members before christmas that is a big effort by all of us and the club......

amazing for a 4 week push- to be hoped the website updated before christmas - is the club open monday or were they indicating closing for holidays today?

The sign at reception said they were closed Monday and that the cut off for the DVD was today.......you would think that the website would have the number up before Christmas....it was busy in there today and the phones were still ringing as well.....

I was at the Club to pick up a last minute Xmas pressie from the shop for my nephew. It seems we passed 18,000 members late this afternoon - the memebrship desk & the shop was abuzz with the news...

Apparently 4,000 memberships sold this week alone !

Club closed today for 3 weeks..however I believe some membership staff are coming back a week early to process memberships

Sensational news.

Would be interested to see how many of those are people who weren't members last year ... that particular figure would be a great indicator of where our membership is at.

Certainly it seems that the "faithful" are excited and were quick to renew ... and the DVD was a nice incentive (kudos to Ben Hall et. al.)

In 2006 (record year of membership), we had 18,100 members by Xmas.
