Future Clash Jumper Design

Was looking at all the different designs, and thought of this one. It's similar to some of the others, but is primarily based off the club logo

because its not a clash.
the only difference is the back, changed the black back to white.

Well it is a clash really because i stops us from clashing with teams like Essendon which would be one of the few times we need it.

here is what it would look like.
it looks to much like the home strip, the colours are kind of in the same possition, except they are just on an angle.
its better if it was black white red, or white black red etc...

nah i would like to see the black on the left, white S and the red on the right! Definitely wouold look better.

all they basically did was to change the BACK of their jumper to white...

Considering some of the great original designs that were proposed in this thread I would be very disappointed if our clash jumper was simply our traditional top with a thicker white panel and white back.

Think of the marketing, why would anyone buy a slight alteration of our traditional jumper rather than the real thing.

Yellow Peril is one of my favourites as well, just loved it because it was so original

Yellow Peril is one of my favourites as well, just loved it because it was so original

Hot cross bun training jumpers next year. one black with white and red cross, one white with black and red cross. jeldwen logo across the middle.

Personally I am sick of seeing the predominantly white clash jumper, surely the Club can come up with a better design ....

Aside from all that, the jumper they're proposing wouldn't look very good in live action. It's going to look like we're wearing a plain white jumper. I think there's something to be said for not butchering the original jumper the way essendon have and coming up with a completely different one for clash.

I'm particularly disappointed they didn't go with your white cross design. That would have been brilliant. And like you said, there have been some other great ones in this thread.

Apparently it has to be predominantly the lightest colour in your strip

That is the stupidity of the regulation, but it is the AFL we are talking about.

The jumper in St Fid's post doesn't clash and would be a good alternative, but why should common sense be used to solve an AFL problem??

There is no reason why the white strip on the front needs to be wider, aside from looking less like our traditional home jumper, it just looks worse.

Just change the back of the jumper to white or red, though the AFL dictate white and there you have it!

Widening of the white at the front looks terrible!

White is a mixture of all the colours, black is a lack of colour... I have never really gotten where that shade talk ever came from.
