i recommened we head off the the gold coast for good lock stock & barrel & as soon as possible...only room for 6 teams in melb into the future

melb..will always be a club called melb in a national comp even if it consists of a couple of the current clubs

not much will change
s.a supporters will still get their 1 or 2 games
w.a supp will still get their 1 or 2 games
syd supp will get their 1 or 2 games
melb supporters as with bris /syd supp will get their 7 or 8 gms
queens supp will get the remaining 8,9 ,10 whatever

give me a stong club (as all interstate clubs are)over a struggling melb based club trying to survive one day to the next

I don't think people have the right idea on the '100 signatures' thing. All it will do is cause an EGM where the current board will be voted back in easily.

It's not like you can have 100 vs 30,000 members and win.

I'd sign up Rog, but I'm just about to launch my own petition for 100 sigs to re-locate the Saints to Moorabbin after they relocate to Frankston, St.Kilda or the Gold Coast.
Am also beavering away hard on a business case proposal to re-locate half of the playing list in Broome and the other half to Dunedin in N.Z. Home games will be played in Alice Springs. This is, I think, the most practical and viable option as the Saints appeal will be across the breadth of the continent and the seas and the AFL will love broadening the games' appeal on an international basis, thereby giving us a huge hand-out and a raft of priority draft picks and salary cap concessions.

the bloody dorks have taken our spot in the future comp (20,30 ,40 yrs) based in melb

they go to tassie pick up the 4 points & the 400 grand making their future secure in the meantime we stuff around playing clubs like the dockers in front of 23000 losing 100g in the process

some may say at least we had a win...the dorks have NO trouble winning in tassie & collecting the booty

we gave up our future security because a bunch of fancy nancy prima donna's wouldnt put their head over the ball when the going got tough....if we had rid ourselves of our frontrunners & not rid ourselves of tassie we wouldnt be having this debate

leaving tassie was about the only gripe i had with the previous admin
