And FWIW, the only thing "utterly ridiculous" in this thread is you thinking the AFL coined the term "veteran".
You’re getting desperate JeffDunne as you are reverting to you modus operandi of fabricating facts to suit your agenda - again!
Please paste me a copy of where I have stated the AFL coined the term veteran, oh wait you can’t because I’m
thinking it mental telepathy one of your acquired skills?
This was your comment…

We've added 3 kids to the list and plenty of veterans
I merely pointed out that the AFL’s interpretation was different to yours.
The AFL - 10 years service at one club and 30 years of age as a qualification for veteran status.
You however see the term applicable to any player traded to the saints and having senior experience (Say Schneider & Dempster 23 year olds).

Perhaps you should contact the AFL and challenge the veteran’s ruling, if you have it your way we can include Dempster, King, Schneider & Gardiner on the Veteran’s List and get the Salary cap relief
Accept your stupidity and move on, no wait let’s see if you can hang out for more than 40 minutes before you reply this time…
