Images of new training base - exclusive
Thanks to 'Bevan Shorluey' for these pictures of the new Frankston training base ...
Interesting to note that it is only 500m from the train station and an easy drive down Nepean Highway. Pretty accessible for most folk.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Looks great...and I reckon yes it IS a Lexus Centre...Id be hoping that it would match their facilities..remember too that the admin base is across the road..so all that space in the sketches is player-focussed.
I reckon the 500m from the station might be stretching the truth a touch..but from my memory from my youth..its certainly no more than a 15 min stroll

Let’s hope this finally gives the State Govt and the Frankston Council the impetus to build a marina at the bottom of Olivers hill
This will boost an area sadly lacking in facilities that will draw people to the district.

Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

Interesting to note in the paper today that the club sent consultants to Chelsea in the English Premier League to check out their latest facilities.
(Wonder if that was Archie who made a quick trip back home )
We will certainly have what is the equal of the Lexus Centre.

why would that happen when Martha's Cove is well into the development stage already? Or does that not incorporate a marina?Joffa Burns wrote:Let’s hope this finally gives the State Govt and the Frankston Council the impetus to build a marina at the bottom of Olivers hill
