Rodney Eade will be doing cartwheels at the Western Oval right about now,i reckon the Bulldogs will draft him for sure......

We don't need any GOP's as we restructure for a tilt at the big one.....

Yeah, me too.

Why?

Apparently St Kilda lodged the papers on his behalf. Big Frase back for one more year?

strange indeed
some club must of been in his ear to get him to come back

does anyone remember the good old days when if you retired you stayed retired ??

its almost like the new way of free agency retire at the end of year and then nominate for the draft

Was listening to Liz Ellis interviewed on Fox Sports News the other night and she said that the time when her retirement would hit home would be when everyone else started training, playing etc. and she was no longer part of the group.

Fraser was still contributing and although he had a few niggles his retirement did not come about through injury, as Aaron Hamill's did.

Perhaps the three months off has refreshed him mentally and he has realised now that everyone is back into it that he still wants to be a part of it.

Not sure how he will get back to St Kilda, though, if that is where he wants to be. Every comment I have heard him make and that has been reported on here about Ross Lyon has been positive so I wouldn't think he (Ross) was the problem - if there was one.

Not sure how he will get back to th Saints. Has he nominated for the National Draft???

Gee - would have made life easier if he had made his mind up in September. Unless another club has talked him around...?

If Saints lodged papers you would think it would be the only place he wanted to go though.

Love to have him back for one more year!

Maybe with the inclusions of King, Dempster and Schenider, he sees us as having a real genuine shot at a flag. We'd have an even bigger one if he came back. Return to AFL Frase, just as long as its not to another club!

How do we get him though, you would not give up pick 9 for him

Could he say dont pick me i want to go back to the saints and it be respected from the other clubs or is this a far fetched thought??

Timing is everything and this is not good timing IMO if he wanted back at the saints.

Going to hurt if he ends up in other colors, black and white would kill me

Bono wrote:He got his nomination in with a minute to go before the deadline today. StKFC officials are currently at the AFL to see if he is redrafted can he be put on the veteran's list and therefore only include 50% of his salary in the cap. Pick #58 will be a very interesting one!
Mmm ... veterans list is 10 years at a club isn't it?

When did Frase join us - 2001? That makes 8 years and next season would be his 9th.

If he wants to come back to the saints (as it seems, Archie saying Fraser made contact with the club regarding a comeback), can he say that if anyone else picks him he will retire?
