Saintsational vs Talking Carlton -December 9 (Venue TBC).
Another forum game has been organised for the 9th of December against the blue baggers.
After the success of our game against Melbourne (The cup has been engraved) it is good to get another one organised.
You know the drill, but for those who don't we play 4 x 25 minute quarters, absolute anyone is entitled to play, only pre-requisite is that you barrack for the saints.
We don't discriminate on age, gender or ability.
Bring tons of water, and a saints jumper/t-shirt or something thats not blue at least.
BBQ post match somewhere depending on the venue.
At this stage we play the games at Glenferrie, but the oval was in an atrocious state last time and with plenty of hot weather around and more to come I can't see it improving.
About 5 people at Talking Carlton suggested Punt Road Oval (No cricket pitch), and I had a few mates on here suggest that as well.
If people are keen we can stay at glenferrie, or we can move the games to a public ground like Punt Road, which is central to public transport and has an absolute ripping surface.
I am leaning to the latter myself.
Thoughts?
oh and names down here if your playing.

i was heading to olympic park about 4 weeks ago now and punt road had a fair amount of sand (or something) over it.saintdooley wrote:yeah, im in

hes not talking about richmonds training ground dooley! hes talking about a ground richmond has set up to train on whilst there actual ground gets re-surfaced! it has nets behind the goals and is in awesome condition! its on the same side of punt road just on the other side of the train line! (right next to olympic park!) excellent option!
One more year for the greatest player of all time! Stay on harvs please!

ive got a friend who will come along, and if we need any extra players he will fill in, ive told him that as he is a tigers fan he will be last picked for the team (saints first), and he says thats fine, he can be water boy/runner/bench wamer/fill in for the blues or just sit out and watch.
but put him down as "richo"
