i have just received an email from alex riewoldt and i can confirm that Sam Gilbert will cost $1600. Please post your interest here...i will have to get more details on how to forward payments, and if gilbert is confirmed as availlable, as current sponsors have until the 30th of this month to renew, yet there is 3 chances to buy a player.

As you may have seen already, details regarding player sponsorship in 2008 have been printed in the membership brochure. I can confirm that these prices are now set.



Obviously, our playing list for next year is not finalised and there will be additions to the team. Once this is determined, the players can be segmented into the different investment levels.



Sam Gilbert will definitely be a core group player and as of now, the leadership group will consist of the following players:

Riewoldt

Ball

Dal Santo

Harvey

Koschitzke

Fisher S.

Maguire

I wasn't part of the brooks sponsorship but did jump on when we did grammy a few years back.

I think they ran the prizes (was it GF tickets?) as a raffle depending on how many shares you bought in the player?

either way I'll be down for a L note.

happy to reduce it or increase it depending overall uptake (ie if many folk want in and a share I'll be happy to not be greedy or vice versa )

All I can afford at the moment after bills, uni applications, debt repayments etc etc!

We will do 100 shares @ $15 each.

That's $1500 and the remaining hundred dollars is Mr Magic's share. That makes it much easier, as $16 shares lead to annoying amounts of money ... it's easier to work in 5's and 10's.

So please indicate your interest on this thread, and I will compile a list of names and the amount people pledge.

Payment will be arranged later, but we need a definite committment from everyone now.

Mr Magic is going to actually go and pay for the sponsorship himself (very much appreciated) and then he will collect the money that people pledge here.

You can buy from 1 to 10 shares at this stage. If we are over-subscibed, then some posters may need to scale back their committment slightly.

No-one will miss out as long as they sign-up before Friday 23rd.
