Could Rix be our...
Full Forward hes a big unit and could be a target if given the job and could RL have this in mind for over the pre season to try out.
Do you think Kossi is penciled in at FF or could it go to someone else like a Rix and let Kossi rome the ground to ruck and put pressure on the opposition with his height and marking ability.
Anyone remember what position Kossi played in his first year when he was killing it.
I think Rix could be ok down forward deep in the goal sqaure not to sure what his leads would be like though.
Just a thought for the arvo

Thats kinda what i'm getting at eastern what about if it was kicked to him deep instead of him trying to get it all the time.
Just thinking if we could still use Kossi around the ground "IF" we could find another FF to replace G train.
Size of the man was the main reason i was thinking this way but i suppose if you just cant get it around the ground then being at FF wont help
Who else then besides Kossi "IF" RL doesnt have Kossi Playing FF?
I thought Watts may of been going to get the job but cant find anyone behind Kossi for the position Gtrain is a massive loss.
Clutching at straws i know but its just a thought.

How about we put one of those chrome ball, perpetual motion, executive toy things at FF?
(you know?...the ones that you swing one chrome ball toward the other ball and it in turn hits the other ball and then the whole thing just keeps going???)
Or maybe a nice vase and some fresh flowers?
Or a veggie patch?
Thoughts?

That's about right, hopefully. If he plays, then it means Gardiner, King, or Kosi are injured - and no-one would want that!Saint Mik wrote:Rix rocks Casey then
Can't really see him anywhere but ruck, or perhaps Gorilla FB. He wasn't used in this manner when we had Gwilt at full back, so I don't like his chances.

sorry to laugh, but you're right. rix is a back up/depth ruckman, not a full forward imoMr Magic wrote:Full Forward's requirements:-
Lightning fast lead
sure pair of hands/strong mark
dependable kick
Rix's attributes
treacle like pace
can take a mark but you wouldn't want to bet anyhting substantial on it
hit/miss kick
Don't think he's the answer.
Re: Could Rix be our...
rix is not a ff 's bottomplug...actually he is not even a footballer...full stop....ff...yeah sure...if we want a priority pick next year.....Saint Mik wrote:Full Forward hes a big unit and could be a target if given the job and could RL have this in mind for over the pre season to try out.

He is on the list as emergency in case both of King and Gardiner are injured and Blake is needed elsewhere.Saint Mik wrote:Just trying to find a spot for him since he has been left on the list.
And no, there is not a chance in hell that he will ever be an almost adequate full forward. He does have a big body and is quick in straight lines, but he would have no idea when or where to lead and he is a shocking mark. At 27 he isn't going to learn either.

I really hope u were either 1) taking the piss or 2) deliberately wanting generate a response Saint Mik. Rix has the size, but he doesn't have any of the other attributes required to be a full forward. Is only a backup ruckman at best.
