The general consensus amongst Freo supporters is that everything went downhill after his debut game. He thought he had made it and was already a superstar, so he started treating staff like crap and decided not to work at training. He basically acted like a spoilt brat, and I'm guessing Harvey wanted to issue a message to the Freo playing list that arrogant little bastards aren't wanted at the club.

Yeah something is clearly amiss there. The Age reported that Freo wants to rookie list at least 1 of the 3 delisted and all 3 have been invited to train with the club up to the PSD.

I would imagine that a club will use a mid/late national draft pick to grab one of them before the Dockers can rookie list one.

Collard sounded very enticing last year...would be interesting to see what transpires there.

Thought if drafted in national minimum 2 years.
yes a minimum of 2 years, however they can pay him out for the 2nd year.

its laughable that freo think that collard would train on with them in the hope of being only rookied....

it wouldn't take much to change his attitude...so the kids has a chip on his should...so what??? most young men do at that age...

it all comes with maturity

if i was him i would tell freo where to shove it and go play for a decent club

Surprised about McLaren, they were extatic to get him only a few years ago, beat a few clubs for him including our own, I think?

Would we give him a go, considering we need a ruckman?
No chance. D Mclaren is 10cm too short to be a ruckman and not good enough for KP. Teague is 10cm too short to play KP and not good enough to play midfield. End of story im afraid.

Sad that teague that unfortunate incident with his car. wish him well in the future.

David Teague has been named the coach of the NAB Bullants for season 2008. The appointment will see the former Carlton star take on a playing coaching role. The move is seen as a step forward in developing the players on the field.

Teague confirmed his excitement in the prospect of leading the NAB Bullants and the young Carlton players.

"This is a rare opportunity to continue to play the game I love, as I embark on my coaching career."

The announcent from the NAB Bullants was made by General Manager, Garry O'Sullivan, at the 2007 Best & Fairest Presentation, where Teague came third in the Laurie Hill Trophy.

"The club is very pleased to continue to have David as a player and we are excited about the prospect of him leading our players. David is a fantastic young man who has already impressed us with his enthusiasm."

Starting his AFL career at the Kangaroos, Teague crossed to the Blues at the end of the 2003 season and won the inaugural John Nicholls Medal in 2004.

Given all of the revelations about the extent of the drug culture at Weagles, in retrospect, maybe Sampi just couldn't abide it and had to get out (like Judd did in his own way)...maybe he would be worth looking at in the draft after all.

I find it interesting that Richmond, a team that finished LAST have only delisted 3 senior listed players.

Yet a team that should be already strong delists 4, along with 5 retirements.

Nutshell: Brooks and Watts should have stayed.

well my continuous brook argument is only stopping short of barks' agenda against GT so i will say no more... but christ, we are better off with brooks gone imo, i dont think we could have paid another club to take him pre-delistment.

Howat got delisted??

Thought he was great in a few games this year ... doesn't make sense at all.

I don't get Richmond at all ... their drafting/trading/list management has been horrific for the past decade.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Howat didn't get delisted ... thought that would be the case.

Interesting no McQualter - despite popular opinion suggesting that he would be delisted.

BUT still another opportunity in 2 weeks time ... at least he has a reprieve, for now.
