i had to leave at 3qtr time, but ilzy had about 60 touches up to then. our midfield was great with the big ruckman, daniel and ilzy dominating. we were well on top early, but seemed to lose all of our run. the dees started to handball and use the ball well through the midfield and always seemed to have loose players. i think my move to full back for 5 mins worked a treat, resulting in a lovely kick. looked like we were going down, but glad to hear we lifted for the occasion and proudly hold the big carl trophy. the conditions were by far the worst i have ever played in and can be blamed for my lack of possies. however, the heat did ensure i enjoyed my slurpee after the game!

Just got home (and showered) from the aftermatch barbie...great game of football even if the conditions were horrid

demons didnt get quite enough players so we lent them the three spinner brothers - who dominated for them

After leading well in the first half we sort of fell apart in the third and early in the fourth but after a see-saw battle in the final 20 minutes we saw lenny_boy get a remarkable snap shot through the posts to win the game with less than a minute to go

lenny-boy kicked a backwards goal while he was on the ground.
bl00dy awesome! barks wouldnt stop talking about it, while he was to scared to brag about it!
but he did get 4 goals for the day! or maybe it was 5.
and 3 of them with in the last quarter! and 1 of the 3 with 45 sec to go!
we sung the song after the game with the trophy in the middle of the huddle!

bbq was awesome! i pigged out on 3 hot dogs and 2 cups of coke!
awesome game and cant wait until we next play, who i think is either the blues or dons!

and lenny boy was one of the man of the match, but i think Ilzy was best on ground! but lennyboy was man of the 4th qtr!
