Was getting lunch with a mate in glenferrie today, decided to bypass and take a look at the oval.

pretty consistent oval...not too patchy but not perfectly grassy either

looking forwards to this game.

as for positions, it cant hurt to have a shot at making them now i reckon

If everyone rocks up we will have about 10 or 12 on our bench, so we will have to rotate heavily....plus we have a lot of "regulars" who might fight hard for there normal positions, which is why it might be best to wait for the day, but I will float some of those usual positions here.
Remembering of course the day is all about fun, so being benched will im sure not bother anyone, as everyone will probably have a stint there lol, a lot of us are feeling the affects of an off season

could be a big bench with lots of rotations, could also have a few not show up.

One thing I will say though is can those who have brought brothers or friends confirm they are sainters? lol

As I was saying, if people want to state where on the ground they normally play then it can't hurt. will help when "coach barks4eva" and his worthy assistants come to pick the side.

I'll bow out and spectate if it'll make things any easier  At least the ground looks better than the dustbowl we played on last time

Don't want people feeling they need to do that lol.. its a fun game of footy and any saints fan who wants to play should get the chance.
If need be we can play 20 on the ground...each side.

one extra wing and an extra defender or something.

I'll play.

Only if Barks is hungry though. The amount of crumbs that guy provides. The bread loaf.

Sorry guys!!!
Waterboy is piking this time round.
Been rostered on to work and can't really be bothered to tell them to go shove it, cos I kinda need the money right now.
I know I'm not THAT much of a loss, but now you can find another waterboy to replace me ;)

sorry guys!!
next time maybe...

My best mate is coming down again (may remember the big dude from a couple of years ago)

he's happy to ruck. he's not fast but he did the 5.5k run for charity a couple of weekends ago.

used to ruck for waverley in the southern Div about a decade ago.

either that or he'll help me with the BBQ :D

ground looks a touch patchy, but with the rain falling at times this week should green it up further.
Meant to be pretty soft under foot which is a welcome relief.

I will bring along the "Banger" flag for those people who haven't yet had the opportunity to sign it.

Will then get in touch with gazrat to organise its return to Sydney.

yeah, im going for the clash strip (white boots, white saints shorts and the clash jumper)
but most people just slip on a saints jumper and any coloured shorts. and some just wear runners if they dont have boots!

do any people need a lend of a jumper? because i have plenty

I have a spare jumper or two i can bring...

spinner most players wear a saints guernsey, hardly any of them are matching styles / years etc but alot of people just try and wear some red white and black... as long as we look different to the other team its all good!

I have 7 spare jumpers. a few of which have already been claimed.

Will bring them along for those without a jumper.

PS, Spinner, as long as it's st.kildaish, or black at the very least its fine.

:D
