King has only left the Cats as the Cats wanted to keep Blake for the future.....If King had stayed Blake would have walked.
In 2008 King will be better than Blake.
Over the next 10 years though Blake has greater currency.
King will do us very nicely for 2 to 3 years.

If a star ruckman goes in the 2007 draft with pick #74 (Saints 5th rounder or 4th pick - after the Schneider deal - that we likely won't see used now) or later, we can guarentee that through thousands of posts on the subject, Barks won't let anyone forget it.plugger66 wrote:So what ruckman should we have got in the draft. the last tine we gave up a low draft pick for a "promising young ruckman who was 3rd or 4th in line" at his original club we got Brooks
I'm glad we didnt give up a low pick to get wood - he is unproven.
even if King doesnt play a game we lost nothing in giving up pick 90.
I cant see the downside of this deal.
