it wouldnt be goddard...i would rather goddard over cox any day of the week

gwilt is underrated in my opinion...he played key back for a month and didnt do that bad...

I realise that, but why would the Eagles give up the best player in the competition, for a key back, when they already have Glass and Hunter...

just doesnt make sense..

hunter isn't a key back...

he is a floater that can do a job but does get found out at times...

Hunter is usually named at CHB though, usually plays where hes needed but starts down back...

Straight swap Goddard for Cox would be fine by me. BJ is an extremely valuable player, but Cox is easily the most valuable player in the competition.

West Coast losing arguably the competitions best midfielder and ruckman when they far from a rebuilding phase doesn't seem likely.

That said, some people on this forum are kidding themselves if they think for a second that Gwilt's role in the side and ability as a player would come within miles of Cox. They'd be maybe 3 players in our side that would be considered as important to our club as Cox could be - and only 1 that would be rated as valuable by other supporters/media.

If rumours are to believed, Goddard will be missed, but would arguably be a fair sacrifice for Cox as well as Pick 9.

My money is on that this is some joke by someone who has access to the Carlton website.

I just tried changing the carltonfc to afl in the URL line, and while the page did load, it came up with the same carlton page, just with afl.com.au in the URL line.

Think its just a carlton hacker.

i dont believe this little conspiracy thing one little bit. if it is true, gardiner and cox will be re-united lol. and if this happens cant wait for season 08 to start. But some how a doubt it, until i see it actually happen and all over the news then i will believe it
