How many games will Brendon Goddard play?
In reference to the off season and silly threads.
Here we go with another one!
I'll go for 308 games, all for St.Kilda, NONE for Carlton!!!

BJ really excited me with his game at CHF early in the season with I think 14 marks and a couple of goals.
he seemed enjoy being unshackled.
it was a damn good impersonation of Reiwoldt TBH.
I've always been a fan of BJ and a defender of him when folks here and elsewhere are 'deconstructing' his game and pointing out his weakness.
IMO injury free we have 3 A class forwards in Reiwoldt, BJ and Kosi.
his subsequent games banished back to the defence I thought wasted him.

As for him being Forward I agree we should give ti a try, if it doesn't work out we send him back no dramas. We already have Goose and Max for our key position players as well as Gram and Gilbert for our flanks not to mention Sam Fisher playing Goddard's old position of loose back.

ever since his debut I have been screaming for him to play on a half forward flank.Dan Warna wrote:BJ really excited me with his game at CHF early in the season with I think 14 marks and a couple of goals.

Reckon he is a perfect third key forward and when he gets the footy 60 out, his lazer like passing makes him very dangerous.

BJ's marking ability and deadly accuracy mean he would be a potent weapon up forward. He's a pretty good reader of the play too. He just seems to get himself to the right spot.
I'd be giving him free reign anywhere forward of the wing and let the opposition coaches worry about him.
GO BJ!!! We REALLY missed you this season. His absence was probably the main reason we missed finals this year.
I can't wait to see him cut loose in '08.

This is clearly a rip-off of my "How many games will Sam Gilbert play?" thread. PM me and I will give you my address, you'll need to know where to send the royalties to
