Not exactly a slow news day, footy-wise is it?

um red, if that is true then I would be pretty upset at my surgeon for passing that information on to another patient....

Would be a huge disappointment...

all the hope I had (and alot of us had) of Gardiner finally fixing his feet and returning to his AA form of 2003 - Gone. Vamoosed. Vanished.

Can't believe it !! DAMN..
What salary was he on? $150k?

We need a ruckman. And need a GOOD one if this is true.

If true, am completely unsurprised. Hasn't had any real impact at AFL level for four years and was a GOP with limited skills at Claremont. Grasping at straws to ever have considered him a solution to our rucking issues.
If it's not true and he's not retiring, then I still think the same thing. Will prove to be of no value to STKFC whatsoever.

The doctor didn't say Gardiner is to retire, he may have remarked that "his foot is no good".

Big deal. The footy world knew this anyway.

How is that breaching doctor-patient relationships?

Comes as no surprise. I can't remember the last time he played footy it was that long ago.

Bit of a panic-signing by Ross Lyon which didn't work out.

No loss at all.

Aside from the odd nightclub sighting is there any evidence that he even actually came on board in the first place?

in that case.......perhaps get ready for your source to get friendly with the CH7 source...

Doctors take a dim view of people accessing what are meant to be private records.

I had heard something very different to this - that the club were confident he would play next year.

Not a "reliable" source, but one who has been right in the past.

It would surprise me, put it that way.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.
