Apparantley if he leaves it will be to the Dawks who are offering him a heap more than what we are.

Archie 'd**khead' Fraser won't just get the deal DONE FFS.

So say he leaves...he goes to the Hawks...what would you want?

I don't believe Goose is going anywhere. Just wait till he's back in town and teh argy-bargy of contract renewal negotiations is finished.

I reckon there is a bigger 'problem' with the X negotiations because they seem to have been 'deadlocked' for some time.

IF we had to trade with hawks I'd want a midfielder as they'd never part with a tall, I'd take ....

Lewis or Birchall + 2nd rounder or Mitchell but it aint gunna happen!

We would get shafted in any deal with Hawthorn Pelchen made everyone very happy there by being the mastermind behind the Thompson and Hay deal.

Any deal Pelchen put together for us will also involve us getting shafted just like North was.

he is a CHB of quality and amongst the top 15 defenders in the competition IMO, with the potential to be top 5.

We want a top draft pick and a decent player.

that draft pick should be used to trade for another defender that wants to come to st kilda of similar value and age to Maguire.

we spent 5 to 6 years developing maguire, he has the next 5 to 6 years of his career at the peak of his abilities.

1st Round Pick No. 13 + 2nd Round Pick No. 30 for Maguire + 3rd Round Pick whatever ours is and id think that is really pushing it maybe a 1st rounder+ 3rd rounder is what we would get for him

we want a player who is as good as goose is now. do they have anything to offer? if goose has decided that he really must leave the club then we would want a potential future champion key position player in return wouldn't we?

I know some on here say he's over-rated. judging by the interest shown from our rivals I'd say we under-rate him

The Hawks window is well & truly open for the next few years, Goose would make them instant contenders.
