WC then decide wether to accept pick 9 or lose him for nothing. I can only remember Port doing this with Stevens. Hall, Lockett, Black have all told St Kilda who to deal with.
We then pay him Gehrig's wages, half of Max's (vetrans list) which should come somewhere close to making him happy... and a job at wherever as a wages collector.
EXACTLY
All this bulls*** about the front runners......Carlton Collingwood.....blah blah.
The front runners will be the team Judd nominates.
Spinner,
Collingwood is first preference with Carlton being second.
The others are not relevant unless a deal cannot be facilitated.
Essendon and Melbourne are non issues as far as Judd is concerened. Its an exercise.
Has Judd sat down with those clubs and decided already?
Oh OK. He hasnt.
Judd will nominate his team. Or teams. WCE will trade accordingly.
And if it becomes extremely messey (and i mean extremely, cos Judd will try his best not to f*** over WCE) he will go into the draft to Richmond.
May i ask how old you are?
Judd has nominated his preferences to his manager and to WC.
His club would prefer to deal with Carlton because they have the picks WC need.

Very open in saying he wanted to go somewhere to win more premierships.
Even with Judd, they will still be a rabble for another 2 years at least.
They have a powerful president who generates money and opportunity.
They have a CEO that can create.
They have sponsors lining up.
Their training facilities will be completed in 18 months rivalling Collingwood.
They have a young up and coming list.
Again - without trying to sound repetitive, but you come on here with less than a hundred posts, spouting black and white have got it sewn up almost and carlton are the 2nd choice, nobody else has a chance.
You state that his manager has been talking to clubs for months.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS
You actually sound like the lonely guy that tries to keep people on the phone to talk to you.
Watch and see.
Many people know things that happen in the world . Many people wont say how or where .
Wait and see.
Haha just stop pretending to know things you dont.
Funny how your 'i know something you dont' rumour, is based around the odds on favourite situation happening.
When most people are saying the Pies are in the box seat, you come out with 'Judd wants Collingwood' - and if / when he does actually sign for the pies you can giggle 'i knew it'.
Collingwood also have a very ordinary record of actually getting players that they are 'linked' with.
Just about every single high profile player coming out of contract over the past 20 years has been reported as 'Collingwood have the inside running on XXXXX'. They just rarely do get anyone.
WHY?
*They try to get something for nothing (Nick Stevens, etc)
* Other clubs don't like dealing with them (Gehrig, etc)
*They scare off players who don't want to deal with the whole "Collingwood" thing.
*Having a bloke like Joffa cheer for you is quite scary.
Collingwood will have (at the best) pick 14. They would have to trade into the top 10 (more likely top 5) to appease the Eagles. Who would the pies have to give up just to get a top 10 pick?
Fraser? Judd would never get the ball if it was up to Guy Richards to tap it to him.
Pendlebury? Will probably finish his career only behind Buckley as the best pie from the last 50 years.
Thomas? Not many clubs would want a HFF & filth supporters love him almost as much as Bucks.
Cloke? Will build their forward line around him for the next decade.
They really don't have many other tradeable commodities that would
a) satisfy a club to trade their top pick
b) WC would accept in addition to pick 14.
While the Pies have a lot in their favour (facility, profile, admin), they also have a fair bit to overcome. Melbourne, Richmond, St.Kilda and Hawthorn all have more attractive bargaining chips to put up (not considering Carlton).
He wont be coming to the Saints for 2 major reasons:
(1) compared to some othe Vic clubs we dont have enough to bargain with Eagles ie draft picks or players
(2) our facilities, history with injury and "training services" will be a significant step down for him personally. He will not want to risk sub-standard preparation and hence will not nominate us as a preferred club.
I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong on the above.

good post, agree with what you have said except saying Pendlebury will be as big as buckley, big call on a kid.
We offer pick 9, and a player I guess, (no idea who), and .........
our first pick in next years draft, in return Judd now and for what
ever player they choose next year - (every draft pick swap MUST
include a player).
[Note: In the US, they apparently swap future draft picks.]
