Brett Voss retires
St Kilda’s Brett Voss has today announced his retirement from the Club after seven seasons.
“After discussions with Ross Lyon and the coaching panel, I am announcing my retirement from
AFL football. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with St Kilda Football Club and leave the game
extremely proud of what I have achieved, and confident that I have given myself every opportunity to
make the most of my time as an AFL footballerâ€

Thanks V2.
Never held in the esteem you deserved. Enjoy your retirement.

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Off the field seemed a great bloke as well
Have no doubt that around a football club would be classified

Thanks Vossy, always gave 100%
Thought you were hard done by at times.
Thanks for the Rohan Smith tackle and the pass to TS40 that set up that memorable win.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
