Not 1 player good enough to make All Australian, what a joke but then again the AFL not rewarding Stkilda is nothing new.

For mine Roo should have deffiently made and and how Dustin Fletcher continues to make the side year in year out is beyond me

Wanted to quickly post on here b4 you are locked by the dont talk about stuff other people are talking about Mafia.

I agree Fletcher played loose all year and was exposed when he had to play on a man. Mooney is a second rate forward and a thug and Steve Johnson? I thought goal sneaks could not be selected for AA? Only way to explain Milney missing out in consecutive 60 goal years.

no saints players......well you can debate that all night...

..but does anyone really think that the pussies from sleepy hollow have nine better players than nick riewoldt...or that joel cory would get picked in a side before nick dal santo....of course not......

....crappy selection process.......

..anyway i'm on here now because i refuse to watch the umpire selection....

just goes to show what a crap year we have had.....imhfo....

I will say this:

If 9 out of Geelong's starting 18 players are in the best 22 players in the AFL, then they must win the premiership by 10 goals or they have failed this season.

Yep.

But:

Riewoldt had a statistically better season thatn 2006 in terms of marks, kicks and I/50's per game.

He played more match-winning games that in '06 IMO.

Last year he was AA, this year he wasn't. Go figure.

It would have helped, but it's not everything. We could have made finals this year, but we still woudl have played mediocre footy. Nothing as special compared to the other years. It shoudl be a lesson learnt to the squad. Next year, show us what you're made of!

yes ofcourse we want a flag but this wasn't the year so a small prize would be nice, our great roo getting his just rewards.

Pavlich, Johnson and J. Brown had better seasons than Roo......

Dustin Fletcher is the only contentious one imo......

I reckon McIntosh and Foley were stiff. FWIW I would have had Sammy Fisher in first if we had any Saints players.

We should give a stuff. Another example of the AFL giving St.Kilda the rough end of the pineapple right up the kyber.

Whilst this year wasn't the best year Roo has had, I think it was still very good and that will be proven on Brownlow night when I expect him to poll very well. That he wasn't named ahead of Mooney and Johnson was disgraceful and quite frankly, embarressing.

Yes, we didn't play finals blah, blah, blah. Collingwood did, and have a look at their representatives - it's completely irrelevant. This is supposedly the best side available from the players of this season, and as such it should reflect those players who deserve to be there.

I'm sure Nick would swap 20 All Australian selections for a premiership, as would any player. But that doesn't aletr the fact that he had a great year that should've been recognised with this honour. He carried the forward line for most of the year, and was awesome in several games.

Ripped off again. Kind of exepect it now.

And incidentally, Baker 7 weeks and Crawford 3???? What the????
