He's not all that quick.
And with RL at the helm he probably will be a 150 gamer... RL certainly does like him...

He will be an important player for us over the next few years..just needs a good pre-season and confidence after his bad shoulder injury which according to some on this forum, you should be able to immediately recover from and get back to top form. Looking forward to 2008.

Not many better rookies in the AFL. Number one rookie this year. People who do not rate hime have a look at his form.

Attard was far better value as a rookie than Jones.
A player who cannot kick the football accurately at all is a liability no matter how quick he supposedly is. Sadly, Jones is that player.

He's a West Aussie ... let's throw in a first round draft pick and trade him to West Coast for Judd

Can't kick, can't take possession of the footy, can't cope with pressure, can't make a tackle stick and is just a terrible footballer. Should never play for us again, but Lyon is in love with him so I think he will probably play at least 12 games next year.

other clubs(including ourselves) have had 100 picks each yr for 5 yrs yet have passed on him
not good enough
maybe its an indication of where we stand today...our sights have been lowered so much that 9th aint too bad & the likes of jones, sampi etc are good enough to get a game....maybe they are good enough to take us to 9th or thereabouts
lets get back to raising our sights & climbing the ladder & not stagnating or falling further behind

Where does Hasleby sit in your thoughts Rog?
Hasleby Armitage Ball inside mids
Dal Santo Hayes Montagna outside/pacy mids
Gilbert Gram wings
Baker Birss taggers
Jones back home in WA
Hell yeah I'd take Hasleby

jones has footy smarts he gathers alot of the ball he knows how to position himself. 40 percent of his disposals this season were contested ball if he works on his disposal and under pressure ability he will be a future star

I agree looks like a star in the making. Hopefully him and Sweeney come good next season. Both very promising.

Agreed shouldnt be off the ground other players like Lenny and Dal should also come off. Give all players a go.
