Haselby would be a very good addition to the team. He is a super talented ball winner who is also very consistent. Besides 2006 he has hardly missed a game and has averaged well over 20 touches.
Pace is all well and good, but I think we may overrate it just a little.
Look at some of the better midfield groups getting around, Swans, Cats, Hawks even the Pies... they aren't overly quick but they get the ball and use it well and make quick decisions... I'd take that over a lightning quick bloke who couldn' t win his own ball.

hasleby and 3rd round pick for our pick 2.
if no lower club on ladder bites then 3rd pick or they will get nothing and we get him regardless via psd as no one wants the guy at the lower end anyway.
i rekon he would be a good player, our midfield would like;
insides ; ball ,haselby
taggers; baker, attard
outsides; monty and dal
mixed; bangers and hayes
extra fodder; fiora, armo ???, birss
its starting to look more rounded as a mid field, not perfect but better than last yr and this yr i rekon.
p.s
gram and and xman gives us additional pace if they play half back flanks.

If that's the price then I'm sold. It'd be payback for Black.crannypete wrote:Dan Warna wrote:, will cost our no.1 draft pick.
brother no where near a first round he is a second round at best or a third round and player deal only
remember brother he wants to leave freo cant ask for too much
Only (theorietical) caveat would be where he fits with the Saints salary cap.
I sincerely hope your connections are on the money.
