Andrew Ainger as full forward
Andrew Ainger as full forward
I was really shocked that he didn't get drafted last year, 17-18 year old, 6ft 4 inches, looks like a gun.
Has move to Canberra as a football club up there is paying for his uni degree. 4-5 goals a game, West Coast and the Swans are about to pounce on him, i would suggest we get in first.
A great Gehrig replacement.
Just my 2 cents.

Re: Andrew Ainger as full forward
Sounds like he could be a decent pick up Wolfie! Do you know anything else about him in terms of pace, body size, and his general football skills (e.g. is he good on the deck, in the air etc.)?wolfpup wrote:Andrew Ainger as full forward

And he is totally right, it is one of the reasons I truly don't like this time of year.
There is always some incredible and untenable crap posted around the forums between now and the end of trade week.
We are just waiting for our yearly dose of rubbish from a regular poster who only turns up at trade time.
I am not sure he has got anything right as yet. But it is entertaining fiction to read!!!
I guess they call it the silly season for a reason !!!

Yep, and while we're at it, let's get the Cornes boys for a package of Gwilt and our 3rd rounder... we can probably get them on minimum wage with performance-based incentiveswoooosaints wrote:Ben Cousins i want to see us go after ben cousins try offer him a 150k-200k a season contract i love his football skills not so much his personality but if we could give wce a 2nd round draft pick for him i would do it flat out

Brent Prismall is my #1 want.
He wants out of the Cats i've heard to go to another AFL club, Essendon is the one going around....but if we offered enough, cats would trade him to us yes?
5 games this year @ 20 possessions per match.
Quick and can get his own ball, would slot into our mid rotation. A ready made 21 year old.
I'd give 9 + 27 for Prismall and 34.

Gun in the making. Starred in the pre-season comp and early season until he got injured. then found it very difficult to get back into a winning side, despite playing well in the VFL. Would give straight 27 for Prismall, or if that's not enough pick 9 for Prismall + D. Johnson/CallanSam23 wrote:Brent Prismall is my #1 want.

Not so sure about "proven performer" tag. Would go with "shown a lot of promise" as a description myself. Pick 9 may be a bit much for Prismall - Pick 9 for Prismall and Callan sounds better.Sam23 wrote:I would straight trade

not sure why not....he is exactly what we need and is a proven performer.
