pre season
It seems our biggest problem this year has been our inability to finish off games and/or play four quarters. There have been many games which we were in winning positions that we lost this year as a result of an inability to play out 4 quarters. Given that we have had so many players below peak fitness for various reasons I believe that this should be a major priority; starting from now. We should follow what the Kangas did at the end of last year (it seems to have played a big part in their form this year) and start a BIG pre-season, nice and early, to get the players into some real shape so we don't have to witness the level of pathetic fade outs that we have seen consistently this year.

only reason kangaroos are doing well this year apart from a lucky draw is because they started their pre season so early last year.
players are entitled to some time off.
Give it to them now. Commence all medical rehab now, including all required surgery.
As far as I am concerned, and I hope the club is concerned, our 2008 Preseason begins as of Monday September third, 2007.
By god we should be the fittest club in the comp come March 2008.
