No pressure today - How should we play ?

Post: # 447528Post Enrico_Misso »

Big ground.
Sunny September afternoon.
No win/loss pressure.

Why not mix it up a bit.
Take some risks.
Move the ball straight down the middle.
Exploit the marking skills of our 3 key forwards.
ie kick to one on one contested mark situations, rather than play "keepings off".
No backward or sideways chipping.
No flooding.

Try and win 140 to 100.
Rather than 70 to 50 (where we never make a game safe).
Take intelligent risks that exploit our strengths.
And make it enjoyable for the players to play.
And enjoyable for us to watch.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

TANK I reckon we should lose the game!! Why should we bust a gut only to recieve a worse pick in the draft??

I seriously want to lose today. Look at freo they want to lose EVERYONE outside the 8 wants to lose!!! AFL is a disgrace!!

AFLs fault change the #$%^&YUIing rules@!!!

GO TIGERS GO YOU GOOD THINGS!!

We have won 8 in a row against Richmond - our best run against them.
Today will be number 9.

Tanking is not in our vocabulary.
Pressure OFF might just mentally free us up to take some risks and play the sort of footy we have been too scared to play.

And give us hope for 2008.

stuff it lets tank, we may as well get the highest draft pick possible.

whats the lowest we can finish on the ladder?

If we play an illegal player we might have all our points taken away.

That's a really good idea.
