They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

tough coaches makes the tough decisions
we are supporters that have heart and feel the club
the man is there to coach us to a premiership that we are more than capable of
choco williams makes the though calls...so does matthews as did pagan back in the dynasty that was the kangaroos of the 90s
thommo might have played his last game for us and that is sad...however do you really think that thommo or any other of the players would have played a little harder or tried that extra few % off the back of thommo or anyone else leaving or playing possibly their last game??
its football and its a facet of it...players know it...so just accept it

Agree with u OWTS. Andrew Thompson has been an excellent contributor to the club for 11 years, and has been a very reliable yet underrated player. You know u will always get 110% from Thommo. To not get selected in what could have possibly been his final game astounds me, what is even more absurd is that players such as Gwilt and Jones are selected over him (no disrespect to Gwilt or Jones). Hopefully we see a late change made which would allow Thommo to play.

Love Thomo, and hope he gets a good send off somehow, BUT, the Coach is not the only selector and I'm sure these desicions are not taken lightly.
IMO opinion he should play (if fit), but there's probably a good reason I'm not on the selection panel.

my thoughts exactlysnoopygirl wrote:As much as I love what Thommo has done for us over the past 10 years, I'm glad our coach has the guts to make the tough calls. I'm pretty sure I read an interview at the start of the season with Thommo where he stated that he understood he wouldn't be an automatic selection this season.
asshole coaches make the best ones...not the sentimental media-ass kissing ones...i.e. terry and rocket

I understand where everyone is coming from, but lets not jump the gun till we know he was fit to play.
Can anyone say 110% that he is fit to play this weekend and he has not re-injured himself.
