there is no need to worry...him along with goose are sainters through and through

no need to stress they will sign and deliver

kosi has said numerously that he wants mates out of footy and not $$$

and goose is plain and simple a good bloke and somone our club can be proud of now and into the future

I must say... i am a little nervous myself...

but

I believe Kosi will re-sign, he will want to do the same as Rooey and Dal and stick together and hopefully win a flag together...
that pack they made 5 years ago appears to still be very strong.

No further contract negotiation will be made with any players until seasons end. Apparently...

Maybe the club are waiting to see if harvs and fraser are going to play on . Wouldn't it free up some extra cash ??

it would free up a little bit but not as much as your thinking I wouldn't think mate.
Both would be on the veteran's list, so they would be no where near as expensive I wouldn't think.

I am not sure exactly sure how the veteran's list works.
Maybe someone could shed more light on it

Ha ? don't mind me because I am really not sure how it works but don't the players hit the veterans list once they hit 30. I am really confused now

No only after the age of 30 and 10 years at the club. But you can choose not to place anyone on the list which we have done and can only have 2 veterans on the list every year if you use it.

the club and I guess players and managers decide who is 'classified' as veteran
clubs can only claim two veterans on their list and
a) can either claim them 'inside' the list- within their 38
b) or 'outside' the list which means they are counted with the rookies to make up the 6 to bring lists to 44

Not sure how it works for TPP- but if classified as a veteran then only 'half' their payments are included within the teams TPP

Harves and Max are our two designated veterans for 2007- but within the 38

do veterans need to have played 10 years with their current team? which would exclude Fraser- answered by plugger66- thanks

Thanks for that.. I was just looking for the ruling and found pretty much what you have just said..

two veterans = 50% of the income included in the TPP
three veterans = 33% of their income NOT included in teh TPP
four veterans = 25% of their income NOT included in the teh TPP

I must say I wasn't really concerned about Kosi re-signing as I think he still will, until I heard Grant Thomas on radio on Friday night say that 'he's very concerned Kosi hasn't signed'.

I think it will take a Godfather offer for him to leave.

Does anyone still pay attention to what GT says on SEN anymore???? I think not.

We went through all this last time Kosi was to be re-signed and in the end it was all ok. While I believe he will sign there are always doubts raised until pen is put to paper. RL has said recently at some of his press conferences that he wants and expects Kosi to stay with the saints. Thats good enough for me.

Well I must be the exception. I've always been a black sheep.

Worries me about how much 'inside' stuff he knows. He doesn't usually say much, so it just pricked my ears up to hear it.

i have resigned myself back to a sense of fatalism.

probably enjoy my football a bit more instead of raging so much.

he goes he goes, he stays he stays.

hope we dont get jerked on the trade if he does go, if he stays hope he is a gun superstar.

that is all
