There will always be doubt though now wont there whether we like it or notplugger66 wrote:crapJeffDunne wrote:Wasn't just the stat's that raised my eyebrows.
He looked pale and ill in the first qtr. Cold turkey might explain it.
After half time he was beaming. Not only that, but for a bloke that's missed so much football, there was no drop off in performance the longer the game went.
Interesting indeed.
Cousins - we couldn't cope with him, even at half fitness

That he didn't look ill in the first half? Hardly sighted.
That he didn't look a million dollars after half time?
That he didn't look like the fitest bloke on the ground at the end of the game?
Please help me out here, I'm struggling with your insightful post.
as i said........interesting..........
i'm sure that there is a suspicion in some circles that he has taken drugs at half-time in the past.....

Must be on drugs because he was sick 3 times. i have seen bakes throw up 5 times and still keep running. Do you realise how stupid it sounds when you say a player is on drugs because he got better.stinger wrote:plugger66...the guy was taken off the ground in thje first half because he was either ill..or playing shithouse...which he was....he threw up three times.......the guys on the radio made a comment about it.......then he came back on and starred.............after being injured and out for one week with a strained hammie...?????????..give me a break......
It's not the throwing up I question. Hell that's pretty normal for a lot of blokes.plugger66 wrote:Must be on drugs because he was sick 3 times. i have seen bakes throw up 5 times and still keep running. Do you realise how stupid it sounds when you say a player is on drugs because he got better.
It was how he looked. He was pale, was running on the spot.
Something changed after half time. Maybe it was the oranges?
I'm not suggesting anything other than I hope he was tested.
Why does that bother you so much?
Because I think it is an excuse that IMO is rubbish. Blake jut wasnt good enough to go with a champion. He was beaten fair and square.JeffDunne wrote:It's not the throwing up I question. My comment is stupid but you basically say a person had performance enhancing drugs a half time when he is the most tested player in the AFL. Are you serious.stinger wrote:plugger66 wrote:No.stinger wrote:do you know just how stupid your comment is.......plugger66 wrote:. If you want to think the absolute worst of him or anyone else for that matter then you are always going to, and no matter what he does good, bad or indifferent, you will never change your mind. That is your right.
But to through accusations around, even with or because of the reputation Cousins has, because of innuendo and your own personal suspicion rather than fact can be very dangerous in this world.
Or maybe some people just want it to be that he has slipped. It might make them feel better or something. Personally for his own sake I actually hope that he is able to stay clean.
