looks like livewire would be a good place tonight before the game to be for a couple of reasons:
1) shout me a beer
2) we will have lots of great signs for people to show during the game at different levels!
I can't but if anyone is willing to add to the 100 signs please do.
Have to make a stand, the passout situation is a good example of what happens when the football puplic put pressure on.

It's all happening. The prints will be distributed at the game. Show them regularly! ..........and Cheer loudly! Tonight is an anti-West Coast & AFL Tribunal zone!

looked pretty good...saw the guy before the match holding up a massive double sided poster saying Free Bakes
i was third level, lockett end, behind saints cheer squad in the forward pocket kind of
had that banner saying Free Baker until security told me to take it down just after half time...i then put it back up at three quarter time and then they took it during the last quarter
good to see a lady a few rows back giving the security guy a hard time bout it
anyone see it? was it visible?

Well done ppls..
I could see a few of them on telly tonight.... The camera was never on them very long almost like Ch 7 didn't want to show them.

Hehehe yes that was most amusingEastern wrote:I was made aware that a couple of our more recalcitrant forumites even put up one of the banners on a pillar in Livewire. It lasted all of 5 minutes before a couple of Collo's goons demanded that it be taken down !!
Thanks for all the help tonight, it was fun while it lasted. Good to see the cheer squad really giving their all too. Good stuff!
I must say I feel really deflated after tonight. Seems to be our life story this season. So close.....but not quite. I'm confident in some of our younger players though, they have really stepped up to the mark this season. We need to retain Harvey - he's going to provide us with an amazing incentive next season! For 07, I hope the cards fall in our favour but I'm not going to hold my breath over it.
ps: I felt sorry for Lukey Ball. That poor bastard must really be hurting! But as the gallant leader he is, he just keeps on fighting! GO SAINTS!!

i saw it and knew it was you straight away! then looked up after 1/2 time and as you said, it was gone!
St.Luke was kind enough to pass onto me a huge banner saying something about "wrong again afl, free baker" (actually, to tell you the truth i couldnt read it because i was behind it )
we put that up for about 2 mins at 1/2 time and then the game started so we took it down, then at 3/4 time it was there for the whole time until security said all banners relating to baker must be taken down!
but anyways, gr8 work by luke!
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
