Back in the 1970s Tom Hafey used to use any negativity from the AFL (VFL) to Richmonds advantage ie: suspensions, fines,etc, a real us against them mentality, sure the game was different then, but the mental side of the game was similar.
In my opinion Ross Lyon could get a real US against THEM mentality going. We have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Lets face it, at best we will finish 7th or 8th, so we are in a knockout situation from tomorrow night until whenever we finish the season.
Instead of thinking negative re: the Baker result (which I think is f_cked, but am not surprised) lets look at what we can get out of it as a positive. The US against the THEM is the way to go.

Just reported on SEN that Rod Buterss and St.Kilda haven't ruled out legal action...watch this space...would make my year if they had the balls to follow this through...would be thrown out in two seconds...just in justice pure and simple...no evidence case closed!!!

Its not the time to run. We need to let th club take it to the next level to restore standards back into the game. A court room embarressment is all that is left to ensure our great game will continue to operate in a fair and reasonable manner in the future.

Having a system of change every year with the ground rules, umpire interpretation and tribunal rulings to suit is just not going to cut it. At some stage a larger club like Collingwood will also have an event that will erupt and cause future consternation.

Watch them change when that occurs. When it does the club will have the right to sue the AFL'S mismanagement of past rulings.

This is all a HUGE leg up for the A-League....a fresh, new comp without corruption and predijuce.

Bring on the Melbourne Victory......I'm losing interest in AFL now also.

It makes me furious too often.

Sums it up pretty much for me, especially the hurts like hell bit.

I hope those afl flogs sleep well tonight, as this is just another cog in their plan for us.....just wish they'd just be honest about it though
