I doubt very much that Bakes will get off. I even doubt whether the sentence will be lessened. The tribunal don't seem to like us ...

Bakes will end up being hanged for the result of the act, rather than the act itself. :(

the Tribunal i think it is more like the Whole AFL that dislike us.

By the rules of the AFL he didn't nothing wrong and by the rules of the tribuneral he can't get suspended for it seeing as there is no evidence, he will get off!

but once you think it over.....its baker and the AFL, thoes 2 things dont go together! they have met way to many times this year and something tells me we wont be seing him until round 6 or 7 next year

Blocking off the ball is an offence worthy of a free kick.

Being held responsible because a player runs into the back of your head whilst not seeing you shouldnt be a hanging offence.

Its real easy IF you apply logic and not some namby pamby cr@p ruling process that dictates stupidity shall reigh supreme.

I have a pretty vivid image in my head of what happened, Farmer probably charged at him and Baker knew he was coming, stopped and propped and Farmer smashed his head.

That's what I imagine anyway, that little maggot charges at everyone when he's hyped up, I'm just glad he's enough of a retard to finally reap the consequences of it... and it was his own fault ha!

They all seem so hung up on Bakes agreeing that he did 'initiate' the contact but he's actually just initiated the blocking movement. Bakes shouldn't be convicted of perhaps misunderstanding the subtleties of the wording.
