Interesting to hear that Jeff Farmer has written a character reference for Bakes. Won't be heard at the appeal because the AFL won't allow it !!

Alot of people dont automatically look at the stickied threads, so it might be worth keeping it unstickied..

Apparently the core of the Saints argument will be that by accepting Bakes' story..that gives them no grounds to find him guilty

I read that our QC was looking at bringing in evidence from the Kosi / Gia clash to support Bakes...

I agree ...I rarely look at stickied threads .....and so what if there are extra threads started tonight ...is it so difficult to delete or combine a few extra...Earn your title mods and dont shirk the hard work on a busy news day ....

As I said earlier I wonder about our legal team. No point in bringing that up because the AFL changed the rules and said at the start of the year what Gia did wouldnt be allowed this year.

Agree with Plugger - precedents should be totally ignored by legal team because they are meaningless in this kangaroo court of a jurisdiction.

Apparently the AFL changed the rule this year due to the above incident. Therefore, why wasn't Whelan's block on Ball, causing sever head problems to Ball, found to be reckless and rough play.

ch seven are SOOOOOO helpful to a players case

they have just shown evidence of how Bakes blocks by showing a block he made on Kerr can't have been this year yet they stated 'just weeks ago'
but it was at the Dome and team jumpers wrong for the game at Subi. and from memory did kerr actually play bakc in July?

keer played in bangers 350 was killed early by bally then came intoit in the 4th qtr

Plenty of people out there who dislike Bakes immensely - they alway tend to be opposition club supporters and it's only because Baker is so damned good at what he does.
