Question:saintsRrising wrote:Panel said they believed Baker...but judged his action in stopping as reckless
Weren't Johnson's actions deemed as intentional?
Question:
Then how does Baker receive a virtually identical penalty (Johnson had 90 carryover pts, Baker 155)?
What a farce. Joke.
The Saints are coming!
As I said earlier Baker gave himself up.saintsRrising wrote:Panel said they believed Baker...but judged his action in stopping as reckless
Now will Whelan get a retrospective suspension for stepping in the way of Luke Ball.
Apparently Luke Ball can get his head knocked off but thats OK, but Baker gets 7 weeks.
But sounds like the goose gave himself up. Will not get out of this. May get it reduced, but wont get out of a suspension.
I feel better now that it was his own silly fault.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Actually Johnsons actions were deemed reckless.....True Blue Sainter wrote:Question:saintsRrising wrote:Panel said they believed Baker...but judged his action in stopping as reckless

This isn't laughable...it's outright corruption.
I saw Scartlett whack Roo at couple of years back at the dome. I can't recall witnesses beyond the two players involved being called and the case was dismissed becuase the footage was inconclusive. Apparently falling to the ground and vomitting is standard procedure for Nick Reiwoldt.
It's a farce. It's a scam. It's corrupt. And I'm nearing the end of the road with this game.
I might watch the Hall/Maguire incident on re-play to cheer myself up...

Don't agree Joffa ..stopping is not an admission of guilt if Farmer ran into him...the whole thing is a farce and the aim should be to get him offf...there is no visual evidence and the hearsay is shaky and contradictory to say the least...just can't believe that Farmer is said to have concussion and no recollection of the incident and yet is called to give evidence...so pythonesque its scaryjoffaboy wrote:As I said earlier Baker gave himself up.saintsRrising wrote:Panel said they believed Baker...but judged his action in stopping as reckless

I'll ignore all the traffic lights on the way to work tomorrow... I'll send my fines to the AFL saying 'they said it's reckless to stop...'
Expect some letters Andy and Aidy...
