I had a quick flick through the first couple of pages and couldn't find a specific post on him, so I thought I'd start one up...

Firstly, I have always been a big believer in X and his abilities, and considered his forward pressure to be a vital part of our game....But on Saturday night, that was the most insipid game of football I've seen him play. I'm usually not overly critical of any of our players, but when players of X's ilk put in an effort like that, it's hard to say anything positive about it...

He missed 2 virtual gimmies, and a chance that was fairly gettable. I thought his chasing and 1%ers were about 85% down on his usual output. He looked completely lost and out of sorts on Saturday night. I hope for our sake and his confidence that he can recapture some of his best form, which is electrifying.... Come on X, step up lad, I still have faith...
