Sam Gilbert
Probably our best player and he does his knee
A year that doesn't end in frustration...please
I was shattered when I saw that.
The only player on the ground who took it upon himself to have a run and then have a crack at goal.
Gilbert is a star. Everyone should have looked to him at 3/4 time break... 3 votes.

pcl
acl
mcl
ACL the worst then pcl then mcl
Injuries to the PCL are relatively uncommon in football but often require a long rehabilitation period. Fortunately, most can be adequately treated by conservative (non-surgical) means.
acl
The ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) is perhaps the most-feared injury amongst all athletes. Without a functioning ACL, an athlete is generally unable to change direction without the knee joint collapsing. Modern-day athletes are fortunate that the ACL can be reconstructed with advanced surgery, but even in the best of hands an ACL reconstruction will keep a player out for 5-12 months from sport. In addition, there is a lifetime increased risk of further problems both to the affected knee and also the opposite knee
mcl
Medial ligament injuries of the knee are very common but often are not severe. Although the exact reasons are unknown, the human knee can function reasonably well without an intact medial ligament (as opposed to the anterior cruciate ligament).
ACL the worst then pcl then mcl
first, if he did his acl he would not have been in pain necessarily, if you pop it clean it doesn't hurt at all, you hear hear a popping sound
second, acl means he won't be back till the second half of next season and pcl means back for round one... massive difference.
third, its hard to say what he did, the impact wasn't so different from BJs, but somehow i think it wasn't an acl or pcl. The only way you know straight away like that is if you poppped a kneecap out of place, usually with a ligament, unless its been hideous, you try and get up on it before you realise that it ain't attached anymore.
My guess, he'll be back in a fortnight to see us struggle against the crows for 8th spot.

I will be seriously gutted if Gilbo is a 12 monther.
He has been about the only positive thing player wise this season as far as an up and coming player.
Superstar in the making, ironically just like BJ who also did his knee.
Imagine our defence with both Gilbo and BJ......now all we need is some run in the midfield and fair umpiring!
